Section 4 - Using a Laptop in a Multimedia Classroom
When using your own laptop in a technology classroom please follow
these guidelines:
• Use the bundled cords, RGB 15 pin for picture, mini plug
for sound and the Ethernet cable for Internet access.
• Test in advance and use the power cord instead of batteries
when possible.
• Set the laptop's resolution to 1024 by 768 or lower.
• Press the function and CRT/LCD button on the laptop simultaneously
to split the feed between the projector and laptop display.
• The video card of the laptop will determine the picture
quality.
• The input switcher will automatically switch the feed
to the laptop when the on screen control is moved to computer/laptop.
*Note: The wireless mouse will not work with laptops.
