Tutorial Family Tree

If you are reading this page you have already met the parent of the Tutorial Family --ITCC Home Page. The ITCC Home Page has links to Frequently Asked Questions, the Assessment, the Tutorial, and the Syllabus/Class Materials.

Of all the links on this page, the Tutorial link is the most complex and warrants a brief discussion. The hierarchical structure for the Tutorial link is as follows:

Tutorial Index

• The Tutorial Index provides links to the individual Modules of this tutorial.

Module Index

• The Module Index provides links to the Lessons for each Module.

Lesson Index

• The Lesson Index provide links to the the Sections for each Lesson.

Sections

• You can navigate through the section by using the back and next buttons at the bottomright-side of the screen .
  • At the the top of the Navigation Bar you will always find the Module #, Lesson #, and Section #.
• Some sections have their own indexes. The section specific indexes allow you to pick and choose what pieces of the section you want to study without having to go through the entire section.
• Some sections will have one of the logos below in the upper left-hand corner. The first logo indicates that the section is specific to the Macintosh operating system and the second logo indicates that the section is specific to the Windows operating system.

• Each Section has Exercises. The Navigation Bar in the exercises has been moved to the bottom of the page. There will always be a link to the next Exercise or Lesson, the previous Exercise (if there is one) and a link to the Lesson Index.
