Wireless access is available in the
public areas of Ragsdale, Moody Hall, Trustee Hall, the Library,
the John Brooks Williams Science Building and the outside area
between Ragsdale and Trustee hall.
Connecting to the Wireless Network (stedwards)

Part 1: Select the stedwards wireless network
Connect to SSID (Service Set Identifier) "stedwards":
- Go to the Control Panel.
- Select Network Connections and
then Wireless connection.
- Scan and select "stedwards" from
the available networks.
- Check the box next to "Allow me to connect to the selected
wireless network, even though it is not secure," then
click on Connect. If you are unable to connect, please
see Wireless Troubleshooting.
* Note: Signal strength should be between the levels of "low" and "excellent" for
a reliable connection.
Part 2: Login to the St. Edward's Network
Non-residents (all faculty, staff and commuter students)
Once connected to stedwards you will only be able to go
to the Wireless Authentication page at this point.
- Open a web browser window.
- You will be directed to login using your SEU login name
and password.
- After logging in you will be connected to the wireless network.
Residents (anyone living in the apartments, Doyle, East, Teresa,
Basil Moreau or Dujarie)
You will use Clean Access to login to the wireless network wherever
you are on campus.
- After connecting to the "stedwards" SSID, right-click on
Clean Access and log in using your St. Edward's username and
password.
- You are connected to the wireless network.

Part 3: Disconnecting from the Wireless Network
- If you are an on campus resident, log out of Clean Access to
disconnect.
- If you are a non-resident, access your wireless connection
and disconnect.
