  1. Open Eudora
  2. Choose Options from the Tools Menu.
  3. Make or verify the following settings:

Incoming Mail Server mail.stedwards.edu
Login Your login is the same as your admin or acad login. It appears before the @ in your e-mail address.
SMTP Server (Outgoing)

The SMTP server should be set to smtp.stedwards.edu for on and off campus installations of Eudora. This is an authenticated server so you can use it from any ISP.

Check the box for "Allow authentication".

Leave Mail on Server

Remove the X from the box. Leaving mail on the server keeps a copy of your email on the server which will consume disk space and count against your email quota.

Checking Mail Set Secure Sockets Click in the drop down menu usnder Secure Sockets and select Required, Alternate Port.
