EDT is a text editor that may be used with the CARS/Jenzabar-CX system.

Accessing EDT
EDT is part of the CARS/Jenzabar-CX application. It may be accessed by using SecureCRT to access CARS and then going to the Utility Menu in CARS and selecting [l] EDT+ editor(SEU).

If you wish to use EDT as your editor for reports you will need to change your default editor in CARS. To do so:

1. Go to the Utilities Menu in CARS.
2. Select [o] Directories & E-Mail.
3. Select [c] Change Editors

4. The WPVI editor controls which editor is used for writing SQL reports. You must enter an editor for all three options. You may enter SEedtv5 for all three to change your editor to EDT.
5. After entering the new editors, press PF1 to save. You will need to exit completely from CARS and re-login for the changes to take effect.
