ADVANCE (4)
changes the cursor movement to forward.
BACKUP (5) changes the cursor movement to backward.
TOP (PF1/5) brings you to the top of the document.
BOTTOM (PF1/4) brings you to the bottom of the
document.
SECTION (8) moves the cursor forward or backward
one section (16 lines), depending on which director
the cursor has been set.
WORD (1) moves the cursor forward or backward one
word, depending on which direction the cursor has
been set.
LINE (0) moves the cursor forward or backward one
line, depending on which direction the cursor has
been set.
END OF LINE - EOL (2) moves the cursor to the end
of the current or previous line, depending on which
direction the cursor has been set. |
You can save
your file at any time or save on exit.
To exit and save:
Press Command (PF1/7) and then exit and press <Enter>.
To save the entire file and continue editing it:
Press Command (PF1/7) and then save and press <Enter>.
To save a file to a new filename:
- Press Command (PF1/7).
- Type write filename and press <Enter>.
To exit without saving:
Press Command (PF1/7) and then quit. |
Press the
. key to begin selecting text.
Use the arrow keys or EDT navigation keys to define
your selection.
DELETE Line (-) deletes the current line
DELETE Character (+) deletes a character.
Each of these tools has an UNDELETE, which is the
function preceded by the PF1 key.
Cut (6) cuts previously selected text.
