EDT is a text editor that may be used with the CARS/Jenzabar-CX system.

EDT+ does not have two separate functions for cutting and copying text. If you wish to copy text, you cut it, paste to the original position, and then paste it to the new position.

  1. Press Select (.), and select the text you want to copy.
  2. Press Cut (6).
  3. Without changing cursor position, press Paste (PF1/6).
  4. Move the cursor to the position to which you want to copy the text and press Paste (PF1/6).
  1. Press Find (PF1/PF3).
  2. At the "Search for:" prompt, type the text you are searching for and press <Enter>.
  3. EDT is not case sensitive, and will stop at the first instance of the word. To search again, press FIND NEXT (FNDNXT - PF3).

Press PF2 to get help.

The first help screen is a picture of the template functions.

Press any function key (either alone or in combination with the PF1 key) to see a brief description of what the does.

Press the space bar to exit help.
