PICO is a text editor that may be used with the CARS/Jenzabar-CX system. Pico is a simple, easy-to-use text editor available on the Acad and Admin servers. PICO is the default editor for email when you are using the ELM application to access your email.

Accessing Pico
PICO is part of the CARS/Jenzabar-CX application. It may be accessed by using SecureCRT to access CARS and then going to the Utility Menu in CARS and selecting [m] PICO editor.

If you wish to use PICO as your editor for reports but currently have another editor assigned you will need to change your default editor in CARS. To do so:

1. Go to the Utilities Menu in CARS.
2. Select [o] Directories & E-Mail.
3. Select [c] Change Editors

4. The WPVI editor controls which editor is used for writing SQL reports. You must enter an editor for all three options. You may enter SEpico for all three to change your editor to PICO.
5. After entering the new editors, press PF1 to save. You will need to exit completely from CARS and re-login for the changes to take effect.
