I've set up my Blackboard class, but my students can't see it. What's wrong?

Answer

You must make your Blackboard course available to your students before they can access it. By default, all Blackboard courses at St. Ed's are automatically generated, but only accessible to the faculty member. This is so that faculty can develop their course material in private, then reveal the course to their students when they are ready. To make your course available:

1. Log into Blackboard and click on the link for the class.
2. Go to the Control Panel.
3. Click on Settings under Course Options.
4. Click on Course Availability.
5. Click on the circle to the left of Yes and then click on Submit.

Your course is now available to the enrolled students!
