Fetch 4 is a file transfer program for Macintosh computers included with the SEU Network Installer. Members of the St. Edward's community may also download a copy of Fetch from http://www.frc.stedwards.edu/installers. With Fetch, you can transfer files to and from your Macintosh computer and other servers such as acad.stedwards.edu.

Opening Fetch and Connecting To Another Computer

1) Open Fetch by double clicking on the Fetch icon.

• From the File pull-down menu choose New Connection.
• Enter Host: host.stedwards.edu (i.e. host = admin.stedwards.edu or acad.stedwards.edu or mac.edshare.stedwards.edu).
• Enter User ID: login name (use the login name for your account on the host computer).
• Enter Password: password (this is the same as your password on the host computer).
• Click on Okay.
