Ingeniux Content Managment System

The Windows client for Ingeniux does not work with IE 7. Offices using Ingeniux need to continue using IE 6 until an upgraded client for Ingeniux is available.

Changes in IE 7

The primary changes to IE are new protections against phishing scams and tabbed browsing. The interface has also changed. Some items are in new places on the toolbars.

Phishing Filter

IE 7 also has a Phishing filter that will assist in preventing access to websites known to be part of phishing scams. IT recommends that you turn the Phishing filter on.

1. Click on the Tools menu and select Phishing Filter and then Turn on Automatic Website Checking.
   
   
   
2. In the Phishing Filter dialog box select Turn on automatic Phishing Filter and then click on Ok.
   
   

Setting Your Home Page

1. In the Address bar, type in the address of the page you wish to make your home page. You can also select the page from your Favorites list.
2. To change your Home Page click on the Home icon on the toolbar and select Add or Change Home Page.
   
3. You may click in the circle next to "Use this webpage as your only home page" or "Add this webpage to your home page tabs". The second option allows you to switch between home pages using the Home icon on the toolbar.
   
4. Click on Yes.
