How to adjust the Audio Settings in Elluminate
1. Plug your microphone and headphones in your computer
2. Open an Elluminate Session
3. From the Elluminate menu bar
select “Tools” then “Audio” and click on “Audio Setup Wizard”

4. From the list, select the device (e.g. headphones, speakers) on which to play audio that you receive from others and click on the “OK” button.

5. A speaker wizard screen will appear and a recorded audio will begin to play when you press play. While it is playing, adjust the speaker volume slider to a comfortable level. When done, press “stop” and you will be asked if the volume level was satisfactory.

6. Select the device (e.g. microphone) that will supply the audio to be sent to others. When done, press “OK”.

7. Press “Record” and your microphone will be enabled. Speak into your microphone with natural voice and adjust the microphone gain slider to a comfortable level so that the VU meter shows mostly green with occasionally yellows. When done, press “stop” and you will able to hear your recording.

8. A confirmation screen will appear indicating that your microphone and speakers have been set up correctly.
From now on, you will be able to adjust your audio settings as needed through the microphone gain and the speaker volume located in the Audio window next to the talk button
During your Elluminate Conference, you can speak by clicking on the microphone button
An icon like this
will indicates that your microphone is active.
Click again on the icon to disable your microphone.
