Instructions for Requesting Computer Equipment
University owned computer systems and peripheral equipment may be ordered through Technical Acquisitions by filling out the online Hardware Request Form. You may request multiple computer systems, printers or peripherals on one form as long as the products ordered are identical (i.e. 3 "HP 5150 printers", 2 "Apple G5's"). Examples of equipment that may be ordered through this form includes CPUs, monitors, printers, keyboards, mice, additional memory, and jump drives (memory sticks).
Note: We cannot order computer equipment for home or personal computers.
Faculty Equipment: All computer equipment requests for faculty must be approved by the dean of your school. Most faculty equipment is ordered annually at the beginning of the fiscal year from a separate faculty computer equipment budget. Use these instructions only for computer equipment that is being ordered outside of that process.
