Campus Ministry

Leadership

Student reading during Mass

There are several ways that you can develop and use your leadership abilities and interests to help guide and shepherd peers involved with Campus Ministry.

Liturgical Ministers

Enhance the regular campus services by serving as one of the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors, Choir Members or Ministers of Hospitality.

Students at Mass
RCIA Sponsors

Serve as a sponsor for someone preparing for Baptism, Communion and Confirmation. This requires a commitment of two semesters to walk a spiritual journey with fellow students. This journey includes a training period, a retreat, some reflection papers, attendance at the Rite of Election and the Easter Vigil and prayerful support of your candidate.

Service Break Leaders

Student leaders are needed for Immersion Experiences to help lead group meetings, organize fundraisers and assist the staff leader while on pilgrimage. You must have already participated in an Immersion Experience or Alternative Spring Break to be eligible to be a student leader.

Peer Ministry

Student leaders are trained and empowered to work in the areas of social justice, service break experiences, retreats, community outreach projects and faith exploration. Under the direction of Campus Ministry professionals, Peer Ministry leaders build bridges to the student community while deepening their knowledge of the Catholic faith.
