Recreation & Fitness

Students at St. Edward's University enjoy a climate that encourages and supports year-round exercise, recreation and fitness.

Our campus has something for everyone, whether you want to compete for your personal best in club sports, make new friends in an intramural league, or simply stay fit on your own time and terms.

Club Sports

Club sports at St. Edward’s provide students a variety of opportunities to learn a new sport, make friends and develop leadership skills. Club sports teams meet regularly for practices, training and games, and compete against other university club teams on a regional and national level.

Intramural Sports

Intramural sports offer students a chance to compete against teams and individuals on campus. With a multitude of sports available, the Intramural program strives to provide sports for everyone to play. Intramural sports include: soccer, basketball, flag football, dodgeball, volleyball, bowling, Home Run Derby, tennis, and racquetball. New sports are added each year.

A new recreation field has been created adjacent to Teresa Hall's sand volleyball court. The field is open to students who want to play pick-up games and host intramural league play, special events and practices.
