Tsunami Response Candlelight Vigil
Grotto (rain location: Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel)

The St. Edward's community is invited to a candlelight vigil on the one-month anniversary of the tsunami disaster. It will be an "interfaith" service comprised of an opening prayer, reflections, a moment of silence and 13 students who will light a candle on the altar for each of the 12 countries affected by the tsunami and an additional candle representing the St. Edward's community.

Ragsdale Service Organization (RSO) and Social Justice Coalition (SJC) will host a hunger banquet to educate the SEU community on how the world eats. A small percentage of attendees will get a large meal, a large percentage will get a small meal, and an even larger percentage will get a very small meal. Cost is $3 or donation of canned goods.
