June 4 Speaker: Mohan Kharbanda To Discuss Doing Business in India

Most recently, Mohan was a vice president at Apple, reporting to the chief operating officer, responsible for setting up off-shore operations in Eastern Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Apple, Kharbanda was vice president of Dell's Americas Business Unit. He also served as vice president and managing director of Dell International Services for India.

University Emergency Preparedness Information Session

Are you interested in the university's emergency preparedness or how you can help? Are you a floor safety coordinator, area coordinator, resident director or Housing staff member? Are you familiar with the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), or are you a CERT team member outside of the university?

If you are any one of the above and missed the first round of information sessions, please attend one of the information sessions being held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 29; Tuesday, June 5; and Tuesday, June 26

The session will provide awareness training and information about the floor safety coordinators, area coordinator positions and the new Campus-Community Emergency Response Team (C-CERT). Please bring your own lunch. http://www.stedwards.edu/emergency/index.htm.

Floor Safety Coordinator Training Session
Maloney Room, Main Building

Basic training for employees who have already been identified as Floor Safety Coordinators for their building, training will cover the Emergency Management plan for your building; what Zone you are in; where your assemble area is; how to contact UPD; what to do during an emergency; fire alarms and equipment; fire extinguisher training. Information for additional advanced training will be provided. Please print and bring the information for your building from the below listed web page.
