Tami Calderon, account manager with Alliance Work Partners, brings valuable information and an energetic presentation style to provide supervisors and managers with the skills they need to successfully manage change and help employees embrace it.

Mabee Ballroom C, Robert and Pearle Ragsdale Center
Artist Margot Herster will present her project, Guantánamo: Pictures from Home which provides a rare glimpse into the life of the prison, the men who are detainees and where they come from. Pictures from Home draws from a collection of 2000 photographs and short videos gathered by Herster of the past two years. These documents, which were taken by U.S. attorneys for the purpose of building trusting relationships with their detainee-clients, portray Guantánamo detainees from Yemen, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain through imagery of their homes, families, neighborhoods and old snapshots that show their faces. Narrative texts derived from interviews with the U.S. attorneys who contributed these pictures and videos relay stories that have passed through the walls of Guantánamo |
