800 students will move into campus housing Sat., Aug. 26, from 9
a.m. to 4 p.m., and St. Edward's University alumni, faculty, staff
and athletic teams will be on hand to help move boxes.
Move-in
Day kicks off a fun-filled weekend of events for Hilltopper Welcome
Days 2000. These activities give students an opportunity to get
acclimated to campus student life prior to the first day of class
on Wed., Aug. 30. Students will have opportunities to meet other
new students, as well as faculty, staff, student leaders and administrators.
Welcome Days activities include a barbecue, freshmen class team
building, socials and dinner with St. Edward's University President
George E. Martin.
St.
Edward's University is an independent, Catholic liberal arts university
of 3,700 students in Austin. It was founded by the Congregation
of Holy Cross.
