assistant directors join St. Edward's University's campus ministry
team.
Sister
Ann Francis Monedero, OSF, will serve as assistant director
of campus ministry. She will lead the Sacramental Preparation Program,
a program for students who want to receive Confirmation, Eucharist,
or Baptism., She also will assist the campus ministry team in all
campus ministry events. As former director of Catholic Campus Ministry
at the University of Texas at El Paso, Monedero has experience working
with students, faculty and staff and providing them with spiritual
guidance. She earned her bachelor's degree in American studies at
Marillac College and her master's degree in education from the University
of Missouri at St. Louis.
Brother
Michael Winslow, will also serve as an assistant director of
campus ministry. Winslow, former director of the Brother Vincent
Pieau Residence in Austin, will join Monedero in providing spiritual
direction and counseling to the St. Edward's University community.
In addition, he will coordinate the on-campus directed retreat experience
and assist with other campus ministry events. Winslow earned his
bachelor's degree in history and elementary education at St. Edward's
University, his master's in applied theology from Graduate Theological
Union in Berkeley, Calif., and his master's in counseling from the
University of Texas at San Antonio.
St.
Edward's University is an independent, Catholic liberal arts university
of 3,700 students in Austin. It was founded by the Congregation
of Holy Cross.
