AUSTIN - Five St. Edward's University softball players were named to the all-conference team for the Heartland Conference: Tiffany Tirres (OF), '03, of San Antonio (Churchill High School); Kelly Teefey (3B), '02, of Carrollton (Newman Smith High School); Connie Rey Rodriguez (1B), '04, of San Antonio (Churchill High School); Erin Wortham (2B), '04, of Austin (Westwood High School); and Marisa Hernandez (P), '04, of Austin (Westlake High School).

St. Edward's University is an independent Catholic liberal arts university of 4,100 students in Austin. It was founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross.
