Local artist Madelon Umlauf to exhibit work at
St. Edward’s University

St. Edward’s University is pleased to present “Paintings,” an exhibition featuring the work of local artist Madelon Umlauf. The exhibition will be on display Nov. 14 through Dec. 7 in the gallery of the Fine Arts Center on campus. An opening reception will be held Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.
Umlauf’s abstract paintings are inspired by the activity, shape and uniqueness of nature. An adjunct professor at Austin Community College and an Austin native, Umlauf uses acrylic, oil and printing ink to create mostly round, not rectangular, paintings.
Exhibition hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information about the Art Exhibition Series contact Stan Irvin at 512-448-8685.
