The
St. Edward's University School of Management and Business and the
Alumni Association welcome Peggy Klaus, Fortune 500 coach and author
of Brag! The Art of Tooting Your Own Horn Without Blowing It, to
campus Monday, Oct. 4.
Klaus,
who started her career started in Hollywood coaching entertainers
for the Tonight Show and Cosby, has been featured and quoted extensively
in a wide range of media including ABC’s 20/20, The Today
Show, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Newsweek,
Fortune, CNET and Investors Business Daily.
For
nearly a decade, Klaus has been advising top executives using her
innovative approach to self-promotion. Her client list includes:
JP Morgan Chase, American Express, Disney, Goldman Sachs, Levi Strauss,
General Mills, Cisco Systems and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Well
regarded in higher education, Klaus has lectured to students and
faculty across the nation. At St. Edward’s, her workshop will
include experiential exercises teaching students and alumni how
to self promote without sounding pushy or arrogant and how to fine
tune networking skills.
