St.
Edward’s University is pleased to present Clay and Metal,
an art exhibition showing the works of Ishmael Soto. The exhibition
will be on display Sept. 3 through Sept. 24 in the gallery of the
Fine Arts Center on campus. A reception will be held on Friday,
Sept. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Including well-known pieces such as “Vessel” and “Teapot,”
Soto’s works are the culmination of his exploration for various
shapes and surfaces and a personal reflection of his appreciation
for the inspiring forms in his native state.
Exhibition hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
