The
first event of its kind in Austin, St. Edward’s University
is pleased to present A Cappella Fest, featuring vocal
music performances by various local university, civic, and church
groups, the concert will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at
7:30 p.m. in the Robert and Pearle Ragsdale Center on campus.
University music
performances include the St. Edward’s University Chorale and
Madrigal Singers and the University of Texas’ Ransom Notes.
In addition, German women’s chorus Austin Saengerrunde Damenchor
and barbershop quartet Sterling also will perform. Sterling has
been ranked in the top 20 quartets internationally for the past
two years.
