| St.
Edward’s University is pleased to present the recent work
of alumnus John Cobb, who graduated in 1983. The exhibition, entitled
Saints, Seekers, and Seers, opens Friday, Sept. 9, in the gallery
of the university’s Fine Arts Center. Primarily done in handmade
egg tempera, much of Cobb’s work is highly spiritual in content
and subject matter with contemporized references to biblical themes.
Cobb has exhibited
extensively throughout Texas and elsewhere in the United States.
In 2004, his work was featured in a one-person exhibition at the
Museum of the Southwest in Corpus Christi.
