Austin, TX –St. Edward's University College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) has been selected to receive $2,124,980 from the U.S. Department of Education. The grant will be distributed over the next five years to assist migratory or seasonal farm workers (or children of such workers) to enroll in the first year of undergraduate studies.
Established as a freshman level scholarship program, CAMP is funded by St. Edward's University and the U.S. Department of Education. St. Edward's University CAMP has served to educate more than 2,500 students since 1972. Each year, 35 students are chosen to participate in the program. Now in its 37th year, CAMP holds the honor of being the longest continuously running program of its kind in the nation. About St. Edward's University
