Egg Ministry to Feed the Homeless ... Partner in serving the homeless in Austin

On Wednesday mornings volunteers set up and distribute food to the homeless in downtown Austin. The parishioners of St. Mary’s Cathedral started this tradition. Later Br. Joseph Harris, C.S.C., started the St. Edward’s team.

Egg Ministry involves setting up tables, serving coffee, distributing sack lunches and, of course, plenty of smiles to the homeless. Carpool is available and provided by the Holy Cross Brothers. The departure time is 6:40 a.m. from St. Joseph Hall.
