Be a Liturgical Minister
Opportunities exist to minister in a liturgical setting as a lector, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
, choir member, and ministers of hospitality.
What does a lector, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
, singer, and minister of hospitality actually do?
- As a lector, one proclaims the Word of God during the Mass.
- An extraordinary Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
helps distribute the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass.
- Any singer can join the choir of either the 10:30 a.m. Mass or the 9 p.m. Mass and practice with his/her respective choir.
- A minister of hospitality stands at the entrance of the chapel and welcomes the assembly as they gather for worship and hands the person any worship aids that they would need for the Mass and collects the offering in baskets and carries them up to the altar.

All training is done at the beginning of both the fall and spring semesters as a group. Under special circumstances there is also individual training for any of the above ministries.
