1. How do I find out about more about Alternative Spring Break and international immersions?
   You may attend one of the three optional information sessions for more details. All sessions are held in Mabee Ballroom C.
   
   • Wednesday, Sept. 12, noon–1 p.m.
   • Thursday, Sept. 13, 5:15–6:15p.m.
   • Tuesday, Sept. 18, 6–7p.m.

2. Who can participate?
   All St. Edward's University undergraduate students currently enrolled full time are eligible.
   
   
3. Do I have to be Catholic to participate?
   No. We ask that you be respectful of all, and we will encourage you to think about the connection between your spirituality and social action in the pre-immersion meetings and during the immersion. Please be open to sharing in reflection throughout the experience.
   
   
4. How much does it cost to participate?
   Each Alternative Spring Break site costs $385. The fee covers general room and board and transportation. Fundraising is also required and supports the site; it doesn't defray your out of pocket cost. Costs for international immersions vary from site to site.
   
   We do not want money to be a prohibitive factor in your application for Alternative Spring Break, if financial hardship can be proven; very limited financial aid is available. Please keep in mind that Campus Ministry pays the majority of the cost of the immersion experiences.
   
   
5. When are applications due?
   Alternative Spring Break Student Leader applications are due on Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, by 5 p.m. Applications to participate in Alternative Spring Break or an international immersion are due Monday, Sept. 24, 2007.

   Or, you may pick up an application at the Campus Ministry office, which is located in Mang House next to the Chapel.
