Helene Caudill received her Ph.D. in Human Resource Management from the University of North Texas (UNT) in 1996, her M.B.A. from UNT in 1990, and her Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech in 1982. Prior to becoming a college professor, Dr. Caudill was a management consultant in the healthcare and technology industries concentrating on continuous process improvement.

She focuses the majority of her teaching in the areas of operations management, human resources management, marketing, and moral issues in society. Her main research interests include job burnout, employee productivity and personality, and quality management. She is also a member of a number of professional organizations including the Academy of Management, the Society for the Advancement of Management, and the Production and Operations Management Society.
