Tim Green received his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University
in 1974 and joined St. Edward’s University in 1988.
He has published articles on comic theory, southwestern
fiction, and W.H. Auden. He teaches literary criticism,
rhetorical theory, technical and business writing, women
writers, literature and film, and a variety of other
writing and literature courses. He has facilitated workshops
on the relationship between the humanities and the professions.
His research interests are in the areas of ethical criticism,
literature and the moral imagination, and comic theory.
