Paula Marks received her Ph.D. in American Studies from
the University of Texas with specialization in women’s
history, frontier history, and American literature.
She has written books on western history and has served
on the boards of Western Writers of America and the
Texas Institute of Letters. She is also active in the
Texas State Historical Association. |
