International award-winning Israeli piano duo to perform at St. Edward's University

The Israeli piano duo of Sivan Silver and Gil Garbug will perform on Sun., Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. on the campus of St. Edward's University in the Ragsdale Center's Jones Auditorium. The performance will include selections from Brahms, Saint-Saens, Schubert and Liszt. This event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the university's School of Humanities and New College.

Silver and Garbug are two brilliant and promising young pianists who have performed with the Tokyo City Opera and New York City's Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

The piano duo has won numerous international competitions including the Brahms International Competition in Hamburg, Germany, the IBLA Grand Prize, the Viotti Valsessia, the Pavia International Competition in Italy and the Hannover Musikhochschule Competition.
