St. Edward's University to recognize 272 students in summer graduation

St. Edward's University will recognize graduating students in two ceremonies on Saturday, Aug. 14 in the Recreation and Convocation Center on campus.

Sue Currey, associate professor of Communications and recipient of the 2004 Distinguished Teaching Award, will deliver the keynote address at the ceremony for New College and graduate students at 10 a.m. Helen Just, associate professor of Psychology and recipient of the 2004 Distinguished Teaching Award, will deliver the keynote address at the ceremony for undergraduate students at 2 p.m.

St. Edward's University officials will confer approximately 272 degrees this summer. Degree distribution is as follows:

Undergraduate degrees 105
New College undergraduate degrees 74
Master of Business Administration 45
Master of Arts in Counseling 10
Master of Liberal Arts 7
Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Ethics 18
