St. Edward's University Hosts Lunch with Author of "Sisters: Catholic Nuns and the Making of America"

The St. Edward's University Center for Ethics and Leadership presents a lunch with John Fialka, author of "Sisters: Catholic Nuns and the Making of America." Fialka, a Washington, D.C., bureau reporter with the Wall Street Journal, uses personal recollections, anecdotes and statistics to tell the historical impact of the Sisters of Mercy and the 400 other communities of Catholic nuns on the United States.

The luncheon, which is free and open to the public, will be held from noon–1:30 p.m. in the Maloney Room, located on the third floor of Main Building. Seating is limited, RSVP to the center by calling 464-8871 or e-mailing cel@acad.stedwards.edu.
