St. Edward's University to Offer Three Fashion Design Workshops

If you've ever dreamed of creating a fashion runway collection but didn't know where to begin, St. Edward's University has the workshop for you. During three individual sessions held in June, the Continuing Professional Education Program will present a class entitled "The Process of Creating a Fashion Collection for Retail Using Industry Standards." The cost for each eight-day session is $300.



Fashion designer and lecturer Mary Margaret Quadlander will explain the steps necessary to take a collection from idea to execution. After studying recent fashion runway collections, students will design, create, sew and show their own collections.

Session 1: June 6-16, Monday – Thursday, 6-9 p.m.

Session 2: June 20-30, Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Session 3: June 20-30, Monday – Thursday, 6-9 p.m.

Open to the public. Prerequisites: Students should know how to sew, even if only at the beginning level. No design background needed. Cost: $300.
