Project Managers are in Demand. Earn an MS in PM at St. Edward's University

There's a new graduate degree opportunity at St. Edward's University and its application is useful to every major industry. St. Edward's announces the addition of a Master of Science in Project Management to the selection of graduate programs.

"The Master of Science in Project Management will strengthen your managerial competence," said John Loucks, Professor of Management and Director of the Project Management Program in the School of Management and Business at St. Edward's. "The degree will equip you with the skills and tools you need to bring projects to a successful conclusion, on time and on budget."

Every major industry needs project managers including:

  • Engineering
  • Software development

  • Nonprofit organizations
  • Consulting

Career Advancement

According to a recent salary survey by the Project Management Institute, the national mean salary for project managers is $90,000 -- even more if the employee has a certificate or master's degree in project management. In researching the Austin-area market demand for graduate degrees in project management, St. Edward's Office of Graduate and Adult Services found a strong corporate demand for project management degree opportunities.

A certificate in project management is offered at the St. Edward's Professional Education Center for those not interested in pursuing a master's degree. The certificate class is designed for today's busy professional and can be completed in only 14 weeks.
