New Undergraduates Experience the Hilltop

The Class of 2010 has arrived at St. Edward's University. Half of the expected 680 incoming freshmen have already visited campus during summer orientation sessions and the remaining members of the class are set to arrive for orientation throughout July.

This new group of students will bring undergraduate enrollment to 3,255, up from 3,047 in fall 2005. St. Edward's University has seen an 84.78 percent growth in the freshman class since 1999.

The fourth New Undergraduate Student and Parent Orientation of the summer will welcome the newest Hilltoppers and their parents to campus.

The New Undergraduate Student Orientation Program at St. Edward's University is designed to provide incoming freshmen with the tools and know-how needed to guarantee a smooth transition into college life.

Students will learn more about their major, meet with an academic advisor, register for classes and become acquainted with the services, organizations and people that make St. Edward's such a remarkable place. Participation in one orientation session is required.
