August Graduation Ceremonies: A Special Note About Parking

ScreenshotSt. Edward's University will recognize 254 graduation candidates on Aug. 12.
Because there are a number of construction projects on campus, the university has developed a parking plan and helpful map for graduates and their guests.

Please follow these suggestions about how to access campus and available parking.

1. Enter campus from Woodward Street at Theatre Pass. (Note: Due to construction, it will be difficult to navigate campus if you enter at the main entrance on South Congress Avenue.)
2. University Police officers and volunteers will direct you to available parking on the south side of campus.
3. Golf cart shuttles will be available to ferry guests who need extra assistance before and after the graduation ceremonies.
4. Special needs parking will be available in front of the Recreation and Convocation Center.

A parking map details the best places to park for the graduation ceremonies.

The New College and graduate programs ceremony is at 10 a.m., and the undergraduate ceremony is at 2 p.m. Both events will be held in the Recreation and Convocation Center.

Sarah Henseler, associate professor of Psychology in New College and 2006 Distinguished Teaching Award Finalist, will deliver the keynote address at 10 a.m.

Joseph E. Pluta, professor of Economics in the School of Management and Business, and 2006 Distinguished Teaching Career Award Recipient, will deliver the keynote address at 2 p.m.
