The VAG consists of 13 elected representatives from the associate membership and Strange is serving alongside representatives from Dell, Northrop Grumman, Sun Microsystems, Xerox and Deloitte.

St. Edward's University is the only private university that is an associate member of TASSCC and the only training organization that has served on the VAG. As a member of the VAG, Strange will support the TASSCC by serving on the committee that plans three annual conferences, reinforces continuing IT education and bridges the partnership between the public and private sector.
