Bishop McCarthy Lecture Series — "God's Kingdom Lies Ahead: American Catholicism in Historical Perspective"

O'Brien is a Loyola professor of Catholic Studies, College of the Holy Cross. The event is free and open to the public. In this lecture, O'Brien will discuss the history of recent controversies over Catholic identity and integrity, as well as propose a call for the renewal of Catholic Americanism
