Celebrate the completion of the Casa, the newest student housing complex at St. Edward's University, at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 28. Enjoy free food and drinks, and performances by Mariachi Alas de Oro and Ballet Folklórico. Guided tours of the Casa will be given during the event.

The Casa, a larger version of the house-style Casitas on campus, opened its doors in Fall 2007, just in time for fall move-in. The much anticipated Casa - located adjacent to Moreau and Dujarié halls and completing that housing complex - provides close to 70 living spaces for upperclassmen and reflects the design of the neighboring residence halls.

Townhouse-style floor plans offer single bedrooms along with common living areas and shared bathrooms and kitchens. Several Casa residents will be asked to open their rooms to attendees for viewing. Residence Life staff members will give short tours of the building.
