St. Edward's University Chamber Music Ensembles present "Classics for Romantics"
WHAT: "Classics for Romantics" Spring Concert

COST: $7 general admission;$5 students, seniors, and St. Edward's University faculty and staff
The St. Edward's University Chamber Ensembles will perform works with diverse instrumentation from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods.
- Piano Quartet in G Minor by Mozart performed by the Piano Quartet
- Suite for Brass by Handel performed by the Brass Choir
- The Petite Symphonie by Gounod performed by the Chamber Winds
- Excerpts from Concerto for String Orchestra by Lully performed by the String Ensemble
To conclude the concert, the St. Edward's University Orchestra will perform In the Steppes of Central Asia by Borodin.
The St. Edward's Chamber Ensembles have grown out of the Music program to include a new orchestra. Instrumentalists include St. Edward's undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff members, and musicians from the Austin community.
