St. Edward's University welcomes 742 incoming freshmen to campus on Friday, Aug. 22, as they move into the university’s residence halls. Students will be moving in from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. If students need help with their belongings, they don’t have to look very far. Student athletes will be available between 9 a.m.-2:15 p.m. to help freshmen settle in to their new home on campus.

As incoming freshmen make trips to their dorm room, they can pick up a complimentary laundry bag. Helpful tips on sorting, stain-removal and getting those brights brighter will be included. Sponsored by the Alumni Association.

Students and parents can take a break from moving-in and enjoy time with family, friends and members of the St. Edward's community while eating Texas barbecue and listening to mariachi music at the Welcome Barbecue at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23 on the Main Building Lawn.
