Transformation Takes Center Stage in the St. Edward's University Magazine
Since its founding in 1885, St. Edward's University has transformed students' lives. The Spring 2009 issue of the St. Edward's University magazine takes a look at the different types of transformation on the hilltop.
This issue's theme, Transformations, ties seamlessly into the university's Holy Cross mission of educating hearts and minds and meeting students where they are in life. It also highlights the people and relationships that make up the heart of St. Edward's.
This issue's feature stories include:
- How the university's time-tested mission still transforms lives - page 14
- Austin and St. Edward's University growing together - page 18
- Bishop John McCarthy on St. Edward's, Holy Cross and the future of Catholic universities - page 21
- Four students transformed by St. Edward's - page 24
The St. Edward's University magazine is distributed three times a year - spring, summer and winter - to alumni, students, faculty and staff members, and friends of the university. Each issue includes the latest alumni news, campus happenings, new faces on campus, student and faculty member achievements along with feature stories centered around a common theme.
