Help Us Create a Better Web Site

St. Edward's University is planning a new and improved web site, and we'd like your input. Take our Web Site Survey and share your thoughts on the current stedwards.edu web site.

This short, 5-minute online survey gives current and prospective students, parents, alumni, university employees and others the opportunity to play a valuable role in guiding the direction of the new St. Edward's web site. The survey allows you to provide feedback on important aspects such as: site architecture, design, content, and ease of use.

The new web site will reflect the university's strategic plan for 2015 by incorporating social media, showcasing the global nature of the St. Edward's experience, lifting awareness of the university's academic quality among a wider audience and sustaining our mission for the long-term. Preliminary plans for the site include better information organization and search-friendly content with a variety of entry points.

To guide our effort, the university has engaged Pittsburgh-based Elliance, recently named one of the world's Top 10 Interactive Agencies. Elliance has teamed with St. Edward's in its desire to combine a research-driven site strategy with effective search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing. The SEO component will help make the site more attractive to major search engines such as Google and Yahoo, generating significantly more visitors to the site.

"Our ultimate goal is to balance relevant content, contemporary functions (such as social media) usability and design to ensure that the site reflects the St. Edward's University brand and is compelling to our prospects, alumni and donors," explains Carmella Manges, Director of E-Marketing.

Information collected from this survey will help inform the university's site planning efforts as it re-envisions the site. Results of the survey will be shared with the St. Edward's community at a later date.
