St. Edward's University Celebrates August Graduation Ceremonies

St. Edward's University will recognize 292 graduation candidates on Saturday, Aug. 15. The New College and graduate programs ceremony is at 10 a.m., and the undergraduate ceremony is at 2 p.m. Both events will be held in the Recreation and Convocation Center.

Helene Caudill, associate professor of Management in the School of Management and Business, and one of the 2009 Distinguished Teaching Award finalists, will deliver the keynote address at 10 a.m.

Edward Shirley, professor in the School of Humanities, and a recipient of the 2009 Distinguished Teaching Award, will deliver the keynote address at 2 p.m.

Degree distribution is as follows:

Graduate 80
New College Undergraduates 80
Traditional Undergraduates 132
Total 292

There will be a reception following each graduation ceremony in Mabee Ballroom at the Robert and Pearle Ragsdale Center.
