Overview:
Assist the St. Edward’s University Business Office with fiscal year end closing activities and preparation for annual external audit.
Responsibilities:
- Perform compliance testing on federally funded programs
- Prepare audit schedules for external auditors related to financial audit.
- Prepare audit schedules under the guidance of independent audit firm for audit of federal financial aid programs.
- Act as liaison between independent audit firm and the Business Office during the auditing process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- SEU Undergraduate Accounting Major preferred
- Must be available beginning May 15, 2013 through July 12, 2013 but may be extended upon mutual agreement
- Weekends and overtime may be required
- Proficiency with Spreadsheet Programs
- Successful completion of Acct. 2301, Acct. 2303, Acct. 3331 & Acct. 3332
- Successful completion of an employment and/or criminal history background check required.
Salary:
$10.25/hour
