Overview:

Assist the St. Edward’s University Business Office with fiscal year end closing activities and preparation for annual external audit.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform compliance testing on federally funded programs
  • Prepare audit schedules for external auditors related to financial audit.
  • Prepare audit schedules under the guidance of independent audit firm for audit of federal financial aid programs.
  • Act as liaison between independent audit firm and the Business Office during the auditing process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • SEU Undergraduate Accounting Major preferred
  • Must be available beginning May 15, 2013 through July 12, 2013 but may be extended upon mutual agreement
  • Weekends and overtime may be required
  • Proficiency with Spreadsheet Programs
  • Successful completion of Acct. 2301, Acct. 2303, Acct. 3331 & Acct. 3332
  • Successful completion of an employment and/or criminal history background check required.
Salary:

$10.25/hour
