Emergency Call Boxes and Courtesy Phones on Campus
Emergency call boxes (one-button activation to reach UPD) and courtesy phones (for campus-only phone calls) are located around campus. In the event of an emergency, you can use either to summon help from the University Police  department.

When you activate an emergency call box, you will automatically be connected with the University Police Department.
- Library (outside of front doors, east side of building)
- North of Track Field (east light pole)
- Sorin Hall (south side of building, mounted on light pole along the concrete walk)
- Holy Cross Hall (southwest end)
- South of Baseball Field (between the Baseball and Soccer Fields)
- Parking Lot (east of Softball Field)
- Premont & Doyle Halls (north side, on St. Joseph Hill)
Campus Courtesy Phones. You can use any courtesy phone to reach other phones on campus. To reach the University Police Department, dial 8444.
- Fleck Hall (hallway 1st and 2nd floors)
- Arts Building
- Holy Cross Hall
- Main Building (ground floor)
- Ragsdale Center (outside and on each floor)
- Recreation and Convocation Center (outside main entrance)
- Andre Hall (east end)
- Moody Hall (all three floors: 1st and 2nd floor on north wall; 2nd and 3rd on east wall)
- Woodward Office Building (south wall)
- Outside of every residence hall
In the event of an emergency, please relinquish the phone immediately and dial 8444.
